Kevin McElroy turned a new-found passion for homebrewing into a successful business venture when he opened Random Row Brewing in September of 2016. Since opening, Random Row has focused on brewing high-quality craft beer that makes a positive impact on the local community of Charlottesville, Virginia, winning numerous awards along the way. We had the pleasure of sitting down with Kevin to talk about how he made the decision to open his own brewery, where he finds the inspiration behind a few of his beers, how he learned how to brew, what it’s like to be a part of the brewing community in Charlottesville, and some exciting things coming soon in their taproom (hint: it’s round and cheesy)!
