We all need a villain.   In my house, it’s the word “no.” With my patients, it’s often insurance.   Insurance companies are easy to blame. They deny visits. They cap sessions. They say no.   But what if that “no” is doing something useful?   In this episode, I explore:   Why boundaries create growth How limits force efficiency The hidden danger of unlimited access Why therapy isn’t meant to be perpetual How ownership beats entitlement     Guardrails don’t block progress — they demand it.   Insurance might be the bad guy.   But that doesn’t mean you have to be the victim.   If no one’s coming to save you, get to work.
