Maybe bear has a couple thoughts on that but week three bear I kind of like a lot of things here. I'm trying to narrow it down right now You were you were wound up when I spoke to you earlier about it. That's not I just get the text that we were trying to figure out Yeah, I've just guessed on it. I love that the team on in at home with Dungee Babers the dome was not a good place for the nose last year Syracuse beat some 30 to 7 this year after the Escape last week against Monroe now. They're going to Charlottesville and you talk about a team that is hungry right there hungry It's gonna be a night game Virginia. I mean I was looking at the last I didn't realize they don't play this Less amount of times.
You know the last quarterback was to beat Florida State from Virginia This is a good one for Saturday show well They beat them the one of Mike London's here They beat him down they beat him tall as Mike London is the last coach to beat Florida State and the last coach to lose to Florida State Who is the uh? I love this team I'd love the the men and how he's molded this program, but I just don't think Florida State's ready for this I don't think they have the personnel that's ready. I was wrong. I admit it I'm just I mean and they had to give the ball to acres 36 times last week 36 times against Monroe to win by one and over time He's got 51 and he only had 173 or 93 yards. He's got 51 carries in two games I think that's way more than they were expecting You know we talked about plenty about the second half against Boise, but give me Virginia hair latest seven Um, they're giving up 15 points a game Florida State.
Here's what they're two games They're scoring 38 a game and averaging giving up 40 That's not good. I know it's the simple total defense step. I think they want next last yeah 520 yards of offense Virginia comes in averaging giving up 220 now. I know what Virginia has played world beaters either I just there's a hunger factor to this team and I just like the direction they're going in the quarterbacks a playmaker They haven't seen anything like him.
Bockmire was what stood in there made some throws against Florida State week one This is totally different dynamic and the defense is athletic as long I would like to see more pressure on the quarterback when they don't have to blitz with Virginia on defense But I think they still have the goods to to frustrate Florida State give me Virginia That was way too long when excellency and it's a spot that willy tagr has not performed his teams have not performed Well, if you look at his two stops as a power five coach flard state and Oregon as a road underdog Oh, and six outright one and five against the number though. The only time they covered was last year when Miami was really still overvalued It was a 28-27 comeback win by the kings put the other five losses They haven't come close to cover any like the average margin of missing the cover It's been like 17 points So we'll see if they have the though the one last stand in them on on Saturday because I'm with you. I'm gonna stay clear just because in case they but if I I would I would I would align myself with you if I had to play the game Let's go. I like Aaron.

I mean I think I think Maryland's offense is really really good And we saw that coming a mile away last week Um But now you go on the road off of that big wing you're ranked everybody's excited You look next week your idol before yeah, the Penn State game in two weeks It just feels like a kind of a difficult spot to lie seven or seven and a half whatever it is on the road against temple.
I don't have a Super high expectation for temple this year. I don't think the steam is gonna be as good as the ones That Jeff Collins and that rule had but but I do think it's a home dog in the spot against Maryland a lot Maybe some potential recruiting battles there to help temples cause like it's out of home field advantage where they're playing Probably be no more Maryland fans to drive up from college part of the game is two and all ranked 30 Yeah, but this is just purely a situational play I'll bang on temples. Do you may have a little bit more success against my parlion jacks in that offense and and the alz offense makes Making up plays to hang in there and I'll take temple plus puts watching this Maryland played pig room and kaseem hill last year Quarterback in there. Obviously not the most accurate throwers the run game was kind of I thought similar the way that you know Ran you know major run side to side across the field But what temple did was just bring those safeties all the way down and make them try and beat them throwing the ball Maryland could not do that That's that's the thing you can do when Jackson coming in uh, loxley's I mean He's seen how many different looks with with those bam offenses.
He's seen plenty of looks I just like the personnel that temple has they might have the best secondary in the american Okay, their linebackers are awesome. So I I guess the jury's still on in Syracuse defense, right? I mean and then we talked about the week before liberty went up and down the field a little bit They just turned the ball over in the red zone So I think temple has the goods to hang around in this game. I'm with you Um, the issue I have here, okay, and this is really interesting I imagine you guys will talk about this on game day three teams this week coming to week three But had a by week two and um, it's tcu It's Iowa state and it's temple and I heard matt Campbell in a press conference this week Talk about when he looked at this season there was nothing more excited made him more exciting than having a buy in week two Which I thought was pretty crazy because that's just the ultimate coach knowing that he can one game And that that's way he could light into his guys and make adjustments and just have confidence in his staff That I found that amazing, but I'm not sure if that's the case for other three teams if you understand what I'm saying I totally I'm glad you referenced that because I was gonna talk about that with iy was state in that And I like I was state here.
I think you're getting them in a little bit of a discount of price I think if they beat northern Iowa by double digits like most people thought they would they're probably favored here And now you're a homeowner dog in a game where this this maybe that game I think will serve Iowa state So well here you go out. You don't play well offensively your defense play great But you don't play well offensively you survive and then that has matt alluded to you get a week off to kind of like okay You see what happened? Yeah, and now you know, it's all in front of you You got a team of two years ago. Yep. I'm a team that's been good to good to us It went against in week one and went up lose with eastern Michigan I think y'all know I think we're gonna come to find out the the two wins against Akron and ucon aren't exactly Like I would have a penciling in Illinois for a bowl game just yet A word on ucon. All right, that's all I got double digit lead could have been more last week Peters has been okay Uh, now you're laying Touchdown again against a team that last year one on the road and beat perdue another big 10 team and Last week went to Kentucky and really warren in the game I'd be surprised if eastern Michigan put together two two straight non-competitive performances against Power five team, especially in this spot. I don't I don't think Illinois down to Back I heard again, right? Yeah, I think I heard again. Mm-hmm.

Um, but I just throw that game out Charlotte showed a lot to me last week against a good app state team. Yeah, but a bunch really good app state team Um The umass offense against ruckers.
They lost the southern illinois Uh, wallbell. I think it's kind of a tough spot. There's not a lot on that roster It's thin to begin with. Uh, I can't imagine what it's looking like after two weeks and charlotte's just hungry man They had their best season last year at five and seven which tells you something, but then he only comes in the energy's been awesome Uh, they play clemston next week.
So I think they're gonna really want to put a put a hurt in on on the minute men Uh, umass is one in six ats against the conference usa But uh charlotte has plenty of goods man. It was 1413 With a if you didn't see bad beats it was 1413 with a minute 10 left in the second half charlotte was getting 13 and a half They fumble Appstate scores is the next play they go a quick three and out and app state blocks upon with 30 seconds left to cover the first half The final score is 5641 after they wins, but i'm gonna give the 19 here with charlotte I would also um if you want to do both in a game, uh, I would maybe tease down charlotte in the over Uh, that could get you around 60 and you tease down the charlotte maybe given less than 14 But i'll lay the I think it's 19 right now. I'll lay that with the 49ers I really like what I see from this program and this new staff. Uh, it's a great opportunity for him to go to Uh, I thought it was pretty smart, you know what they had on the roster They had some players last year.
They were building towards the first year They scored a billion points week one to get him his first win So I like charlotte this week and we're gonna lay I think you mass has the worst defense in the country I'll just say they made they made ruckers offense look like a juggernaut Uh, ruckers offense by the way last week that threw the ball 41 times for 26 yards is one of those or 26 times for 41 yards, whatever I talked earlier I hinted about Michigan state against Arizona state in that the awful angle of like Getting on a team that beach the last week but as you Arizona state is is beating up all the offensive line They have had a lot of problems in the red zone punching it in and that's against what sacramento state and ken state Yeah, yeah, pressure quarterback first road start now against a really good defense a revenge situation for dino in those guys Yeah, what time is this game all offense look a whole it's an afternoon game for eastern Okay, the offense that showed up last week shows up They're gonna be hard to be if you combine that back and and efficient lu working with with really good defense You just don't know what you're gonna get weekend weekend, but I just I think spot with revenge road freshman quarterback first road start against that defense I've seen 13 and a half out there. I've seen 14 So I think this number probably settle north of 14 probably settle 14 and a half I think so I probably jump on this a little bit earlier in the week, but I think Michigan State's probably Probably right saying again another double digit home favorite. That's not me at all. No, but I think it's the kind of week it is But I will say Shout out to the people that got this at like 11 and a half 12.
I think it opened that You can't go against Michigan state in the spot. I mean all the time I mean and you mentioned it good little workie is good I just don't see a lot of it And I still can't come the grips with what it is We talked about plenty of times with the coaching staff changes that dino made But they're they're a wild card going forward. We know the defense is pretty elite. Um, so I like this spot for sport And if we lose, we'll just point where I'm producer.
