Ep 6: Developing Emotional Muscle

from IQ Meets EQ Podcast Hosted by Jacqui Brauman

Jacqui and Ush talk about domestic violence, and speak to domestic violence survivor Anita Bentata, author of Wolf in A Suit. Anita Bentata transforms the uncomfortable into living from our essence. She is a speaker, author, events and online presenter. After a traumatic childhood and then escaping relationship abuse with two young children, Anita searched for a therapy which could get to the essence so this never happened again. Anita became a psychotherapist specialising in trauma and the unconscious and has been working in the field nearly 25 years. Through Activating Artemis, Anita mentors women, and is the founder of Big Hearted Women communities, to reclaim emotional muscle and engage and live from our healthy, fierce, wise, loving, feminine energy. Anita teaches how to develop the inner marriage between feminine and masculine principles within each of us, so we have the capacity to speak about the uncomfortable, take right action, through the attunement to our body, feelings, unconscious and instinct. So we can engage in the world freely and confidently, creating a healthy relationship with yourself and others. Activating Artemis provides ground breaking solutions, addressing the gaps through: speaking, books, online training courses, a membership site for women and retreats for professionals, survivors and the general public: for prevention, intervention and recovery.
