Ep. 6: From A Straight-A Student To A Lost Soul, aka TheMentalHealthDeclineTM pt.1 (Germany miniseries pt.3)

Hi y'all! It wouldn't be a Germany miniseries for us if we didn't speak about what the HECK happened to us mentally when we moved. So we sat down, collected some bulletpoints that we found were the most significant in our JoUrNeYs - and we just spoke about that. In this episode we discussed the newly found independence, adult life responsibilities, loneliness and homesickness, while also touching on some positive aspects of these things at the end.  It's hard to say it all in just one episode though, we feel like each of these topics deserves its own bigger discussion, so maybe in the future. DISCLAIMER. We are kind of reluctant to post this because WE KNOW that our problems are not the largest and we are very privileged to be able to speak about these things (although the second part will have some harder topics for us, this is just the basics haha). However, even though they do not compare with what some people are going through, they still made an impact on our lives and it wasn't something we would overlook when observing our immigrant lives from where we currently stand.
