Amber opens up about the patterns of control, manipulation, and abuse that she endured, and how she eventually found the strength to walk away—not once, but twice.  Amber’s first marriage began when she was young, and she believed the verbal abuse and control were “normal.” Isolated from friends and family, she endured years of apologies and excuses before a simple birthday party became the catalyst for her escape.  Her second marriage started with charm and promises but quickly revealed red flags that Amber dismissed as cultural differences. Over time, the relationship turned manipulative and abusive, even affecting her children. Amber recounts harrowing moments, like recovering from a C-section while being forced into uncomfortable situations, and the heartbreaking moment her oldest son was physically harmed.  Through her courage, Amber fought for her children’s safety, navigating a lengthy legal process to ensure their well-being.
