EP. 6 - North Wales Road Trip, The Ugly Truth About New Cars & Can Driving in the UK Still Be Fun?

This weeks episode… No plan, no notes—just a properly winged catch-up after a spirited morning blast through North Wales. We chat about our drive with a seriously special 911 ST, plus Tom’s Cayman S and Joe’s Z4, and ask the big question: Can you actually still enjoy driving in the UK?Speed cameras, potholes, insurance costs, endless traffic—it’s getting harder to justify the love. But is there still magic to be found behind the wheel on British roads? We also go off on one about the state of car design (spoiler: we’re not fans of most new BMWs), the rise of Chinese car brands and their slick dealer networks, the tariffs America’s slapping on car imports, and what it’ll take for the European car industry to properly fight back.Let us know if UK roads still do it for you—or if you’re ready to pack your bags for the Alps.#RoadTrip #911ST #CaymanS #BMWZ4 #UKDriving #CarDesign #ChineseCars #CarPodcast #Petrolhead #BMW #AutomotiveChatYou can listen to full episodes of The Ditch Finders Podcast here:Spotify – https://open.spotify.com/show/2EZ3XNeXFO35wEZObB5K8W?si=cbdd760357f6426aApple Podcasts – https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-ditch-finders/id1786865028Amazon Music – https://music.amazon.com/podcasts/0ac67c91-6dbd-4612-b385-1db595132d78/the-ditch-findersYouTube – www.youtube.com/@theditchfindersFollow us for more:Instagram – www.instagram.com/theditchfindersYouTube – www.youtube.com/@theditchfindersTikTok – www.tiktok.com/@theditchfinders
