John and Patsy Ramsey enjoyed a traditional Christmas morning at home with their children, six-year-old JonBenét and nine-year-old Burke, before attending Christmas dinner at the home of friends. According to Patsy Ramsey, she got up early the next morning and discovered a ransom note on the stairs.
