Ep. 6 Understanding our Biases

In this episode Dennis discusses the fact that we all have biases and presuppositions about nearly everything. This isn't necessarily a bad thing. What is not good is when we don't recognize what those presuppositions are or how they are formed. 
In this episode specifically Dennis deals with this issue of security in salvation and how different Christians will debate this issue. What usually ends up happening, however, is that both Christians end up tossing verses back and forth that they believe supports their position but neither side is convinced but both leave feeling vindicated that they are right. What is needed is a deeper discussion about foundational beliefs that help to shape how we as Christians interpret certain passages
