In this episode, Laura highlights her seven takeaways about the Netflix docuseries ‘The Puppet Master: Hunting the Ultimate Conman.’ This episode includes: • deconstructing Robert Hendy-Freegard’s behaviour (nee Dronfield aka Rob Freegard, Robert David, David Hendy, David Clifton); • an indirect assessment of Hendy-Freegard using the PCL-R, the Psychopathy Checklist Revisited; • breaking down what coercive control is, the signs to look out for and how to spot men like Hendy-Freegard; • potential next steps for the investigation; • the coercive control law Laura successfully campaigned for which came in in England and Wales in 2015 and the coercive control law reform work she is doing across the world (yes it’s a global issue!)
