About CaroleCarole Baskin is an animal rights activist, entrepreneur, and CEO of Big Cat Rescue– a non-profit organization that serves as an animal sanctuary in Tampa, Florida.  She drew public attention when she was featured at the docuseries Tiger King in 2020 and became a contestant at Dancing With The Stars in the same year. While she unwittingly became a public figure, her vision of a world where all wild cats are free remains. Carole has collaborated with multiple animal-rights groups to push for the passage of the Big Cat Public Safety Act.
