Today we're talking to former high school football coach Joe Kennedy and his attorney from First Liberty Institute, Jeremy Dys. Coach Kennedy has been locked in an eight-year legal battle with his former employer, Bremerton School District, after the district took issue with Kennedy's tradition of saying a silent prayer after football games. Despite Kennedy trying his best to work with the school district officials and find a way to compromise, they were insistent that any prayer he does must be completely out of sight, and now the case will be heard before the Supreme Court. Obviously, the case is ridiculous, as Kennedy has a First Amendment right to express his religious beliefs.
