The challenge is to raise $30 million dollars and pull 30 million pounds of ocean plastic from the oceans, rivers, beaches filled with plastic trash. Pollution has created a health crisis across the planet and the marine animals are greatly affected. 100% of the money raised goes directly to non-profit organisations Ocean Conservancy and The Ocean Cleanup.
