Having self-directed his own career around surfing and the ocean, Nik Strong-Cvetich is focused on saving our planets best waves from dangers both present and future through collaborations with many organizations, governments and communities around the globe.  His Santa Cruz based organization 'Save The Waves Coalition' has the ambitious goal of protecting a thousand waves by 2030 through their World Surfing Reserves program.
