Ep.62: Italian Serie A Podcast: Bologna and Juventus in the Champions League

Bologna made history on Matchday 36 of the Serie A season as they secured qualification for the Champions League, their win over Napoli doing part of the job and a win for Atalanta against AS Roma doing the rest.They will be joined in the Champions League by Juventus, despite the fact that they were only able to draw 1-1 against Salernitana on Sunday evening. They also had their fate confirmed by Atalanta's 2-1 victory at home to Roma, which will almost certainly be enough to ensure that they get fifth and Roma have to settle for the Europa League.There was some amusement involving last names when AC Milan beat Cagliari 5-1, whilst Sassuolo threw away an important lead away at Genoa which makes their task of staying in Serie A a lot harder.To talk through that and more we have Euan Burns, Kevin Pogorzelski and Vito Doria on this week’s Total Italian Football Podcast.The Total Italian Football Podcast is here to discuss it and the rest of the weekend’s games.
