EP 62 - You Got Banda'd
Episode 62 is here! Before we get into the match, we're sending love to Payton Crawford following her season-ending ACL tear, and teasing an exciting Ring of Honor announcement coming May 19th. On the pitch in front of 7,088 fans, Lauryn Thompson earned her first start and Ivy Younce made her professional debut as a second-half sub — but it was a night of tough firsts: the Courage's first road loss of the season and their first second-half goal conceded all year. We dig into Manaka Matsukubo's ridiculous form — she leads the entire NWSL in goal contributions (18) and goals scored (14) over the past year. We've also a fun hat-trick fact, a special shoutout to a Reddit comment about Cameon Brooks being someone's favorite Courage player this week, and we look ahead to the Courage hosting the Chicago Stars this Saturday for Star Wars Night. A fun show as always, check it out!
