He talks about the difficult journey to Rasuwa, damaged road conditions, trauma among survivors, challenges faced by relief workers, and why the needs of flood victims change as the situation develops. The conversation explores the ground reality of the Rasuwa flood, disaster relief in Nepal, over-donation and poor relief coordination, natural disaster preparedness, flood recovery, and the need for stronger disaster management policies. Saigrace also discusses why Nepal must be better prepared for future natural disasters and why failure of the new government could affect an entire generation. Beyond the disaster response, Saigrace Pokharel reflects on receiving the 40 Under 40 Youth Recognition Award, his journey as a storyteller and filmmaker, the meaning of storytelling, and the lessons he learned from visiting Rasuwa. This episode combines stories of resilience, humanitarian support, Nepal flood relief, government responsibility, youth leadership, and the power of storytelling during difficult times. From emotional accounts of people still processing the disaster to practical questions about aid, preparedness, warning systems, and recovery, the discussion offers a closer look at what communities actually need after a flood and what Nepal can learn before the next emergency.
