Ep. 64 The Trail Running Film Festival is back. With Adam Stevens

from Community Trail Running · host Adam Lee

“That Film Fest was awesome, man. Kudos to you for putting that on and creating, well, not only more community in Vancouver for trail running but also to help trail running filmmakers. It's so unique. And to bring that to Vancouver was super special. So I'm stoked for next year.”Adam Stevens loves filmmaking and trail running. He talked about his passion for both and how they both came into his life when he was looking to make a change. From there that hobby turned into a career and Adam is constantly releasing new material and challenging himself on the trails. One of those challenges was running and filming his experience at TranSelkirks. It’s a multi-stage event and Adam had to learn how to manage his body for an entire week. “Day 2 I was like, oh, I'm actually feeling pretty good. No s**t. It's day two. And there was a lot of climbing that day, not quite 2200m, but pretty close. And, I was suffering for like 10 K and I was not feeling too well. So that was a bit of a wake up call for day three to be like, okay, I gotta like chill out and make sure I can get through this.”Adam was a great guest and I enjoyed hearing from him about his experience running and filming. You can see the film he submitted to the Film Festival for consideration here.
