Questa è una tradizione che arriva dall’America, ma in realtà la festa di Halloween non è americana.Molti credono che sia una festa irlandese che deriva da una festa molto antica chiamata “Samhain”, il capodanno celtico.Questa festa segnava il passaggio dall’estate all’inverno e dal vecchio al nuovo anno.Si pensava che il 31 ottobre gli spiriti dei morti potessero tornare sulla terra.Caratteristica di questa festa è intagliare la zucca, che si chiama Jack O’Lantern.Da dove deriva il nome Jack O’Lantern?
