Ep. 67 : Self Trust + the Beat of Life with Steph Strauss

from Modern Mindfulness Podcast · host Rebekka Mars

Life moves with no control; who do you trust?  What do you allow? In today's episode Stephanie {Steph} Strauss shares her story of trusting her Self and the universe as life and her own journey continue to unfold.  From being a cigarette smoking restaurant manager, to a yoga/wellness/meditation/trauma-informed group facilitator, Steph is proof that you are never defined by any one part of your life.  She also shares tales of traveling the world to meet friends who she met only through social media, proving yet again that there's so much more to so much that meets the eye. Steph is a Chicago-Based, Trauma-Informed Embodied Movement, Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation Facilitator and creator of The RSI Method.  RSI is a practice of putting “the body first” so you can learn to release stored emotions from your body through embodied movement, vocal activation and breathwork.  You will be guided through yoga, dance, somatic movement, strength training, breath practices and vocal releases all through glimpses of structure, structured freedom and complete freedom. With a continued RSI practice, you begin to connect to your own innate wisdom and power to trust and embrace all the mystery, mess and magic your life has to offer. In the conversation, Steph's openness to life is inspiring; her honoring of teachers and artists and creators is admirable; and her quote-ables are worth noting like, LIFE IS MY PRACTICEYOU DON'T NEED DRUGS OR ALCOHOL TO FEEL THIS FREE... and more... Be sure to tune in for inspiration, connection, and elements that will help you move through life, rooted in a deep sense of trust and care that will move mountains.Meet Steph on Instagram: @stephstraussmindfulnessYou can join our global community and practice virtually with in the Zoom room, all levels are welcome. >> Weekly online RSI practices most Wednesdays and Saturdays { https://www.stephstraussmindfulness.com/rsi-method-live-classes } >> Can’t join  live?
