• Two levels of concentration (כוונה) - animal type (דעת תחתון), and human type (דעת עליון).  • Yaakov on the 'outside' and Moshe on the 'inside'.  • Yaakov the servant - service of God comes with much toil, Yisrael the son - service of God without toil.  • The level of Yisrael is given as a gift from God.
