Every 9 seconds a woman in the U.S. becomes a victim of Domestic Violence so during the time of this entire podcast episode almost 400 women have became a victim and half of them didn't make it. the other half are afraid to speak out and a few are standing up and speaking out, telling our stories to bring awareness. In this episode I share details of The Black Eye Project and how you can help raise awareness, signs that someone you know may be a victim of domestic violence, how you can safely intervene if you witness domestic violence in public or with a loved one and how one of the DARKEST moments of my life helped me to see my LIGHT and find my purpose. ***Domestic Violence Awareness Month***Join me on Tuesday Oct 29, 2019 The Black Eye Project: During the Black Eye Project, educated volunteers apply makeup to resemble a black eye before entering the community.
