Ep. 7 - Empowered beauty choices & radical ownership: all women are natural women

Taking OWNERSHIP of your beauty choices, natural or not. It’s not about being “perfectly natural” all the time, it's about doing what you feel you need to do from a deeply EMPOWERED place. Because when you distill it down, it’s all just been an effort to journey closer to yourself. This episode is about “the balanced beauty continuum” and doing what is best for you at the time to feel whole and restored. And as your self-connection, self-relationship, acceptance, love and healing deepen ~ your choices will change. The things you once needed to feel whole, will change. Whether it’s as benign as hair extensions far more invasive and altering, I’m here to honor your need for personal self-expression and connection to your highest beauty. This is me closing my eyes and jumping. Opening my heart and trust-falling backwards into your arms. This is me sharing a podcast episode that is so vulnerable, and so exposing that I feel a bit hungover from it. I was in a deep portal of processing when this all came through to share. I knew if I recorded it later it wouldn't have the same power and energy to it. With the Embodied Beauty podcast I promised myself I won’t filter out of fear. I’m doing things differently and if I try to self-edit, it just won't transmit in the same way. So I’m pushing through that fear of being exposed because if it helps you, my dear listener, it’s so worth it. Because we cannot heal fully in the darkness of secrecy and isolation. We need to open the doors and windows and air it out, and let the sun illuminate and transform the shadows into beams and lakes of light.
