Ep. 7 - Hayden Hawks - Professional Ultra-Marathon Trail Runner / Coach / Husband and Father

from Dad Up Podcast · host Bryan Ward

Hayden Hawks didn't dream of becoming a professional runner as a child, but he now knows this is his true calling and the path the Lord set for him. Now a professional ultra-marathon and long distance trail runner, Hayden has competed in races around the world. He is now a top world ranked trail runner according to ITRA. He sponsored by major companies such as HOKA ONE ONE, Nathan Sports, Rabbit, Coros, Unived, and Julbo. Hayden has coached runners for many years and founded the Cedar City Track Attack Youth Program. While he is proud of these accomplishments, this doesn't compare to the pride he takes in being Dad. Hayden and his wife, also a professional runner, love spending time with their son. Like many couples, they work hard to balance parenting and career.  Hayden loves his career, loves life, and most of all loves his family.
