On your lower back right? Yep. Ow. I'm glad everybody can hear that.

Yeah, I did on purpose. Ow. Ow. Hello everyone.

Hello everybody. Welcome to the Daily Undressing. I mean, packing. I'm your host, Felipe.

And I'm your host, Kayla. Currently we're a little occupied. Aquapada. As I am giving Felipe a lower back massage because he has won't he do you again?

Yeah, it's pretty good. Good job. It feels good. We have a little bit of a rough day today.

It's been low in activity, but it has been rough. But it's uncomfortable. It's good, right? Right.

That's why I want to, unfortunately, pull out whatever thinking if it's negative. Because if it's a little bit uncomfortable, then normally you can grow and learn from those situations. You don't want to go on my way. Yeah.

And if you do fingers, you're going to fuck them up. You can do knuckles if you want. You're going to get to there right now. Like that part?

What part? This part of your hand? This part of your hand? This part of your hand?

Okay. And there's a specific spot like under my back right here. Like right there? I feel like there's a knot or something.

That's a spot to stop hurting when I did that. When I did the foam roller? Oh fuck, that hurts so much but I know it's helpful. Oh, that was hot.

Felipe, that's so gross. You can't do that. Well, we have the recording button. Jesus.

So just like with every couple, you know, we don't want to advertise on social media that we're perfect and that we never have competitions. When I woke up this morning and saw Felipe's post about me on Instagram, I was absolutely elated. I thought it was incredibly sweet of him to post that of me but also in his caption. There you go.

Right there. In his caption, he recognized that we have our ups and downs at once but twice in thrice. And so today was one of those days. I have a weird habit of making pessimistic or negative responses to things even though I'm not in a negative mood.

I could be really happy and I could be feeling good but for some reason what I respond, it comes out negative. And I tried to get him to tell that to me. And then the moment he did, I got all defensive and tried to prove to him that I wasn't negative. And then that caused a little bit of an argument.

And unfortunately, I need to be better about being told when I'm negative if I want to be any better, which I do. So... You're being really good at it so far. Really?

Yeah, like right away as you say yourself, you get a little bit defensive. But everything, all that means nothing when you come back and recognize it, right? Thank you for saying that. It's the awareness of it that is important.

It's not the... Not the... Not the... Not the...

Ow. Without your finger. That was my knuckle. Holy shit.

I'm cracking my knuckle on your spine. So it's just the awareness of it that I appreciate and then your ability to be able to talk about it later and especially talk about it while you're being recorded. It's not easy. Of course not.

That's just diminishing the ego, right? Right. That's why it's not easy. Yeah.

It's the ego losing its power over you. Most people on social media want to flaunt all the great things about their relationship. You never see anybody ghost about stuff that they go through. That's difficult because you don't want to advertise that your relationship isn't perfect.

Exactly. You're happy and you want to look all those things. But nobody is always happy and no relationship has no conflict. Exactly.

And if we keep forward pushing the stereotype that the perfect relationship on social media, that everybody else is in a relationship with no conflict and you're the only one, then you think you need to give up. Yeah. So I think it's important that we, in our quest for authenticity and to stay genuine that we even show the difficult times, the times that we have to overcome. I really appreciate that sentence.

A quest for authenticity. You can't see that now guys but I just dabbed. The quest for authenticity. I like that.

Thank you. I just want to talk about this also and how the daily I'm having, like I'm part of our blog. That's not a bad idea. We can record it while we do it on our podcast and also slip it into our blog.

Yeah. And then it might make people go watch our blog. Yeah. Or we could just do a chunk of it in the blog so that encourages them to go see the rest of it in our podcast.

I'm just pushing on the same spot over and over. I don't know if it's going to go. Yeah. It feels great.

Can you show me where it is again? Yeah. Is it right here? I don't know.

That's my asshole. You're a clean asshole. It was really difficult to get myself to post that one decision to you today. Because I like to be spiritual, and I talk about things that are hard, but I don't usually talk about personal things that are hard.

I talk about things that are hard in general and how to overcome them. Yeah. So going through something, and that's also what I wrote about in our blog post for a bounce back. It began with how great art and great music come from people's struggles.

And then I wrote, let's see if the blog follows that. Let's see blog post follow that same model. Yeah. And I started writing about what happened today.

So I think that hopefully people will see that we want to be, we want to show a side of ourselves that normal a lot of people show. Yeah. And you know who helped me see that? Who?

BTS. Yeah. I can imagine that. Because that's what they want you to see, right?

Right. They want you to see everything, but they go if you're not just the good times. Yeah. Can you do a little bit of my upper back here?

Of course I can. Using the knuckles. So then for activities for the day, we... We make content for bounce back.

We make content for bounce back. And we went out for a vegan brunch. That's right, we did. Actually, we just ended up there because the first place has changed their menu.

But I was really fucking surprised that vegan food was that good. Well, actually I knew, but I was like, I actually never had it confirmed. Yeah, the only time we'd ever had like a big vegan meal was our Christmas dinner. Mm-hmm.

When we hired the dinner for Christmas dinner, it was all completely vegan. Yeah, right. Thank you Steph. Thank you Steph.

And me. Yeah, you're right. I cook more that day than I ever performed my whole life. Yeah, that's what got you going with.

Yeah, that's what made me want to cook when we moved to Norway. Mm-hmm. So we had really good vegan food. We're going to try to eat healthier.

I have a weird, I guess, idea in my mind of what healthy and unhealthy is it. I just used to think that eating unhealthy was eating chips all along. And eating drinking soda all day long and eating McDonald's by these week. I didn't use to punish myself for having white bread or for macaroni and cheese or those kind of things.

Yeah. But to me, unhealthy was overly unhealthy. Yeah. So now I have to kind of adjust my mindset and figure out what kind of foods I can allow myself to eat, like the occasional ice cream, the occasional soda.

And then have my daily meals, the vegan, vegetarian and mostly plant-based. That's what I would like. Mm-hmm. And show love to my body that way.

I think it'll help my mind focus better. I think it'll help me be happier during the day. Yeah. I won't be as tired or might I have more energy.

Yeah. Yeah. That's how those things work. And that's one of the main reasons that I want to start eating healthy is because I know it does the brain and really use a really good service.

Like, when the body and the brain and everything in the body has the nutrients it needs, then it functions properly. It functions as it's supposed to, right? Yeah. Because, you know, veins get cluttered.

I know it's veins, but like there's shit in the body that gets cluttered with all the shit that we eat, right? Okay. And I, when you said earlier that you had like a twisted view of what healthy and unhealthy is, it brought me to the thought of like, it's because you grew up in the United States. And what they want is like, this is the conspiracy of the leadership in the United States is that the people that own the food that you, the companies that produce the food that you eat.

Also own the, have stocks in the pharmaceutical companies, right? Absolutely. So they want you to eat shit for you to have to go to their both services, right? Right.

Eat the food and use their doctors or their medication. They're medications, right? And that's why I believe that maybe it's into your American that you might have a twisted reality or a twisted view of what healthy and not healthy is because that's what they wanted you to have. It's possible.

So. And so now I have to, I'm rewriting everything that I had previously. I guess maybe I want to say learned, but didn't learn, right? Yeah.

Everything that I didn't learn. That's what they, that's what one of the, what actually several of the books that I, you can use more power if you want. Actually. I love them.

The books that I read, it's more about unlearning than it is about learning anything. Like unlearn what you learned about anything. Because what you learned and what they wanted you to know, what they wanted you to learn in no way. Yeah.

So I have to unlearn what I originally thought I think was healthy and unhealthy eating. Because based on what you taught me and what I read online, I think that I thought unhealthy eating was junk food all day long. Right. And that's it.

Right. That was eating unhealthy because I have a lot of. Can you continue right there? Right here.

Because I know a lot of people who do that. Yeah. And that's what I thought unhealthy was. But it's more than that.

It's about the ingredients in meals that you're eating and the amount of sugar you're taking and making sure you get all of the vitamins and minerals that your body is supposed to have every day. So that's what I'm going to focus more on. And now that we're here and we can eat for cheaper. I think it'll be a cool way to adjust my body to that kind of eating.

Yeah. I would be lying if I didn't say how I was going to miss fried foods and soda. But you're right. I don't have to completely cut it out.

Yeah. None. Nobody has to. Yeah.

You can eat 80-20, right? You can eat 80% healthy stuff and then you can treat yourself to 20% of what you eat is a little bit unhealthy. Right. And if I'm still stretching and taking care of my mind and my body, then.

You're doing a lot for yourself. Then I'm doing a lot. And more than what you've ever done. True.

Right. Because even when I was working out at the gym four days a week in college with one of my friends, I was still eating crap. Right. Well, not that I thought it was crap, but now they look back and it's crap.

Yeah. I was eating pasta all day and that's it. Yeah. That's not a lot of nutrients.

So. Thank you for listening. We'll unpack with you guys tomorrow. We'll unpack with you guys.

Actually, we owe you an episode since we forgot yesterday. Oh yesterday was a kick assay too. We forgot. At the end of the day, we were being really silly and goofy.

And we kind of forgot to do that unpacking. And we forgot to go to bed because we fucking went to bed at like four times or something. Or yeah. So I wish we had done one yesterday but it'll be better days and there'll be more unpacking.

And we can forgive ourselves for not doing it yesterday because if we wanted any other way, then that would be the ego where some things were different. Yeah. That's right. We've got to accept the presence.

That was one of the quotes that I made for Bounceback. Oh yeah, I saw. Good job. Thanks.

Thank you for listening guys. I'll hear you tomorrow. Bye bye.
