Ep 70. Spirited Away

On this socially-distanced episode of the Nerd Herd, we are joined by honorary co-host, Tyler, and the third of our sibling trifecta, Luke, to discuss a childhood favorite of ours, Studio Ghibli's Spirited Away. We talk through all of the metaphors and parallels that completely flew over our heads as kids because we were too scared of our parents turning into pigs, break down our existential emptiness and dread that all Miyazaki films weirdly put into us, and Syd and Casey are too excited about yet another sad boi with a delicious redemption/development arc (except this one is also a dragon).
