Ep. 71: Bob Dec

Welcome painter/art instructor Bob Dec to In-Focus Podcast Number 71. Bob, who is originally from Fall River, Massachusetts,  received his BFA from the then Southeastern Massachusetts University, today's University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, in 1975.

Bob Dec received his MFA from Columbia University School of the Arts in 1977. He concentrated on painting drawing, printmaking, and photography while studying for both degrees.

Robert M. "BOB" Dec, has exhibited in art galleries and museums from New York City to throughout New England since 1975. Bob has experimented with a variety of styles of painting and photography throughout the years ranging from very realistic, to abstract.

Much of his work is inspired by classic cars, landscape, politics, the environment and music. Recent work has featured landscape using photo transfer techniques, acrylic, and pastel.
