Elk Hunting is about encounters and opportunities. The more encounters you have, the higher your odds at having an opportunity and closing the deal. But how is it that some people have so many more opportunities? Is it luck? My father had a saying. Whenever I would tell him he was lucky, he would always tell me "Luck is nothing but skill and opportunity meeting". When I asked him how it was that he had so many more "opportunities" than others, he just looked at me,... winked and said..."because I create MY OWN opportunities". When it comes to elk hunting, there are going to be plenty of guys and gals that have encounters and opportunities this coming season. They are going to be in the right place at the right time. But if you want to be "That Hunter", the one out of 10 that are consistently having opportunities and getting it done, year after year, then let me share a little lesson from my dad...you are going to have to learn how to create your opportunities. On this Tuesday's Show, We talk about how to create your elk hunting opportunities by being an aggressive hunter. But what does it mean to be an aggressive elk hunter? Is it screaming challenges?
