Ep.72 Erin Martin
from Roar Podcast Productions Hosted by Damyon Traylor
Today on The Live Tap Podcast, I sit down with Tennessee State Women’s Basketball standout Erin Martin for a conversation about her journey both on and off the basketball court. We dive into her dominant high school career in the Montgomery, Alabama area, what separated her from other players growing up, and the mindset that helped shape her into the player she is today. Erin also opens up about the tremendous impact of WNBA legend and Tennessee State head coach Candice Dupree, and how Coach Dupree has helped her grow not only as a basketball player, but also as a person. We also discuss the growth of women’s sports, the opportunities being created for female athletes, and how Erin has seen the landscape of women’s basketball continue to evolve. From her roots in Montgomery to competing at the collegiate level, Erin’s story is about confidence, development, opportunity, and continuing to chase greatness. #TheLiveTap #ErinMartin #TennesseeState #TSU #WomensBasketball #CollegeBasketball #WomensSports #BasketballPodcast #HBCUHoops #LadyTigers #CandiceDupree
