Dr. Rachel Draelos is  the Founder and CEO of Cydoc, a health AI startup that generates medical notes from patient intake forms, enabling streamlined appointments and helping doctors save time on notes. Dr. Draelos was the the first person to graduate from Duke University with an M.D. and a Ph.D. in Computer Science. She also holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Duke University and a B.A. in Biological Sciences from Cornell University. Dr. Draelos’ research focuses on artificial intelligence methods development for medical applications. She has published across multiple areas of artificial intelligence, including computer vision, natural language processing, explainable AI, and expert systems, and her academic works have been cited over 300 times.
