As an osteopathic physician he wants to get to the bottom of WHY people feel the way they do. His clinic research and practice has led him to believe that all physical ailments have their origin in the mind particularly the unconscious mind. This has led him to pursue a better understanding of the human mind and in March he will be finishing his Masters in Humanistic Psychology. He believes in what he calls a “somato-emotional reflex. In other words, tension in one area of the body will influence the entire body because the body is a whole. Muscular tension is the somatic side of repression. Our musculoskeletal system absorbs our emotional strife. It’s the emotional landfill. But before change can happen there must be acceptance.
