During this conversation, Dr. Sampayo shares with us how a health scare for her husband completely changed the trajectory of her life.  She details the emotional turmoil as well as the mental and physical effects she has experienced throughout her healthcare career.  Dr. Sampayo has had numerous transitions, from bedside nursing to Nurse Practitioner to Doctor of Nursing Practice.
