Ep. 73: Lester Young - Path 2 Redemption

from The Curious Jones Podcast Hosted by Curious Jones

Lester Young is a Transformational Speaker, Certified Life Coach, Facilitator for Boys Circle, as well as the author of "The 5 Stages of Incarceration". He is setting a new standard for “living a life of redemption”. At the age of 19, Lester was sentenced to serve life in prison for murder. During his time in prison, Lester began to create outlines, programs, and classes to instruct and mentor fellow inmates. He served a total of 22 years and 5 months before being paroled in 2015 at the age of 41. We discussed his journey and the purpose he feels behind it and how he hopes his story is both a cautionary tale for youth on the outside as well as those who have already found themselves incarcerated.
