Ep. 73 The problem with platforming abuse victims
from TruthBeKnown
Ep. 73 The problem with platforming abuse victims In this episode, Ekkie and Nathaniel discuss various issues surrounding abuse victims. The #metoo movement, although it exposes some things that need to be revealed, is essentially unhealthy. Unfortunately, many within the church are adopting the world's way of dealing with these issues-- around the idea of the "if you've been abused, you are now an expert" mentality. We also discuss a recent article written by Chris Honholz, which can be found here: https://www.slavetotheking.com/2021/12/06/should-we-platform-survivors-to-end-abuse-in-the-church/ If you are a lady and are looking for women worth following: Michelle Lesley - https://michellelesley.com/ DebbieLynne Kespert - https://headstickdeb.com/
