Ep. 74 Ouija Boards

from Fascinating Nouns

When it comes to the Ouija Board, I have always harbored a morbid curiosity. From the first time I played it at a sleepover, I have always pondered: Is it a simple game designed for entertainment, or is it a true mystical device, capable of communication with the 'Other Side'? Luckily Ouija historian Robert Murch was on hand to explain the complicated, and rich history of this seemingly simple game. We discussed the credited creator William Fuld, how this game sparked a Hatfields/McCoys style 96 year family feud, and at which point did Ouija go from kids game, to dark symbol of unwavering evil.
