EP:76 - Boo Urns

On this Episode of Luke Who’s Talking I’m going to talk about, Emails, Solstice and Boo’s or Boo-Urns? Firstly, lets talk about emails. A few weeks ago (probably) I sent three different businesses around town emails, just asking if they might have any positions opening up soon. I get businesses are busy and all that, but it took like a week before I got any sort of reply back, a bit average I thought. However hopefully it has all lead to something, but knowing my luck it’ll probably all fall apart! Tuesday was the ‘winter solstice’ so my cycling group organised a winter solstice ride, genius plan. It kicked off at about 7am, and after a short ride to a lookout over the city (that I didn’t actually know existed) we got to not see the sunrise because of the fog/mist that was about, classic. But at least we got a coffee and churros afterwards. Wrapping things up with a hot topic, that I don't think actually needs to be that hot, that is the gesture of ‘taking a knee’ during the Euro 2020 soccer tournament, the England team has been getting boos from the crowd whilst they’ve been making the gesture before games. Is this bad? what do people think the gesture stands for? I share some thoughts on this.
