Ep 76: My Breast Explant Experience

I lost something incredibly dear to me recently: my boobs. Well, not entirely. Just part of them. If you follow me on Instagram or have listened to my recent podcast episodes, you probably know that I had to have explant surgery to remove my breast implants thanks to a rupture. Fucking brilliant. Had the best time. (Not.) While everyone was extremely supportive throughout the experience–my friends, my partner, and my surgical team–it was still an emotionally taxing experience, and it dredged up new insecurities I had no idea were ever there. I want to talk about this so you all know that it's all right to grieve a part of yourself…but you don't want to wallow in that feeling forever.
