Ep. 76 Patricia Stallworth: If You Don't Mind Your Money Someone Else Will.

from Better Divorce Podcast · host Paulette Rigo

Patricia Stallworth, MBA, CFP® Founder & CEO PS WORTH Patricia Stallworth is a Certified Financial Planner™ and the CEO of PS Worth, a financial planning and education firm. She focuses on retirement planning – helping professionals and entrepreneurs create retirements and life/work plans so they can live the lifestyle they desire. She uses a combination of practical money strategies, collaboration and action plans along with accountability to help clients get and stay on track to achieve their goals. And, she is the host of the PS, When Can I Retire? Podcast. She engages clients and audiences through shared experiences, humor, and sometimes tears, challenging them to move, act, and overcome on their way to building a secure future. Her desire is to elevate their confidence around money – to think about possibilities, abundance and who they can become rather than dwelling on past mistakes, a lack mentality or leaving their future to chance. She holds a B.S. in Education, an M.B.A. in Finance. Patricia is the author of several books including: Minding Your Money, How to Get Divorced Without Losing Your Blouse and The Profit Handbook. Check out Patricia's podcast: PS, When Can I Retire Podcast. It’s available on a number of platforms, including Apple Podcasts. Click here to listen to some of the latest episodes. She’s been quoted or featured in Black Enterprise Magazine, Essence, NPR, NerdWallet, the Little Pink Book, the Atlanta Tribune and other platforms. Early in her career, Patricia left her money management to someone else and they lost it all. That became a FLASHPOINT causing her to shift careers from a management consultant to a financial consultant. So, she understands the temptation to pass money management tasks on to others or to not stay engaged. AND, she also understands the consequences of those actions so she offers programs with auto-pilot features to minimize the time needed to work on your goals as well as education so clients always understand the why of decisions and where they stand. Patricia is living out her calling to change lives through strategic planning and education. Her journey continues, and while she says it hasn’t always been easy, she feels that it has certainly been worth it.
