Ep. 77 Q&A - How to make progress with an injury, Scale fluctuations, Making time for the gym, Making progress after 40 years old, and Rest periods when working out.
from The Chasing Health Podcast · host Chase Smith
Got another Q&A podcast for you this week! Questions answered: Dealing with a wrist injury, my doctor said to not lift heavy. Is there anyway I can still make progress through this injury? I’m battling being discouraged when the scale fluctuates between the same numbers but never goes any lower than the lower number. Example: teetering between 261-265 but never going lower than 261. How can you break the plateau? I’m super busy during the holidays and don’t always have time to get to the gym. How can I still maintain some sort of consistency with my fitness routine during such a busy time? Can I still make progress after 40 years old? How long should I be resting in between sets when working out? Thank you to everyone who submitted a question! If you'd like your question answered on the show, submit it HERE!
