At the age of 17, he was accepted into NIDA.At age 23, Butler moved to Los Angeles to pursue a professional career in acting, where he landed roles in General Hospital, X-Men: Origins, Australia and HBO's The Pacific, among other film, television, and theatrical projects.Most recently seen playing Nick Towne on "Hawaii Five-0" & Ryan on the Hulu series "Casual".
