Starlight Thursdays Episode 79 Queen Bean takes us away with her Booty Shakin' Ghetto Tech Mix. 2 years behind the decks playing at house parties, Forest Creatures, Montana Magic, Tickle My Fancy, and Grease Camp she’s cultivated a style many of us have been excited to hear. Her brother has been a major inspiration and influence on her DJing. Do you know Saganist? (if not check out episodes 68,48 and 29) The two of them were raised in Great Falls together and pack a wealth of talent between the fine art work she creates and DJing, his live music, production and mixing. Hopefully we’ll hear a back to back project out of them at some point. She’s a part of the Grease Camp 2012 crew and most often you’ll catch her playing techno and house but in this mix she takes a turn down a road of Ghetto Tech, with some Hip Hop, and Breaks aimed to please. The fast repetition and breaky bass always gets me to dance. The crude and risqué undertones brings out the freak in all of us.
