Ep.8: I want to be somebody in the future

Hello purpose seekers! Ellen Seldenthuis is a very special human being who has happily and creatively dedicated her life to serve and educate in Ghana, West Africa, empowering not only women but also youngsters with special needs, giving them a sense of pride and purpose. In Ghana people have a saying: "I want to be somebody in the future" Ellen shows them that it is actually possible, walking the talk. Twenty years ago, after a failed relationship and already having fallen in love with the African continent during a vacation, she traveled to Ghana for a little while to lick her wounds and heal her soul. Little did she know that she would still be there now, impacting many people in many ways, just through following her own intuitive guidance and desire. Ellen and I met there back in 2005 and connected instantly, we are definitely Soul Sisters, we have worked in Ghana and traveled together through India, Nepal, she's visited me in Aruba, we did a cruise and I could say I know her pretty well. She has had her fair share of challenges yet she continues to baffle me with her resilience and mindset. She currently lives in a rural village outside of Tamale, with no electricity, no running water, no flushing toilet, and she is super content living smack-dab in the middle of nature with the love of her life and the company of chicken, cows, dogs, goats, cats and a couple of donkeys. I want people to know about Ellen and her generous heart, I want Ellen to realize how much of an impact she actually makes through her aligned decisions and I want you to be inspired by her.
