Meet Australia’s Top Healthcare Strategist of 2026Australian healthcare strategist Melanie Wentzel has been named Top Healthcare Strategist of 2026 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP), an invitation-only US organisation recognising global leadership and global impact.The award celebrates Melanie’s sustained contribution to healthcare strategy, policy, and reform, built over more than a decade working across public policy, healthcare reform, and the global cannabis sector with government and private organisations worldwide.In 2025, Melanie published Cannabis Queens, an independent project exploring the role of women in the global cannabis industry. Now distributed across 16 countries, the book is being referenced by clinicians and policymakers across the globe.Selected by an independent IAOTP board with no nominations or paid applications, this recognition has already elevated Melanie’s international profile.
