In this session, two seasoned in-house counsel, Judy Naiberg (Rogers) and Fernando Garcia (General Counsel) will discuss the role of in-house counsel specifically focussing on ethics and professionalism. They will touch on related issues including how to add the most value to their employer/client, working effectively with outside counsel, ethical considerations for in-house counsel (such as confidentiality), best D&I practices in legal departments and the broader organization, mentorship and leadership in in-house roles, and the use of technology for in-house practice management.
