Ep 8: Stand Therefore
from The Victory Chronicles Hosted by Cross and Crown Kingdom
Episode 8 of The Victory Chronicles: Stand Therefore. This closes out Series 2, Armor Up. Anchor passages: Ephesians 6:14 and Galatians 5:1 (KJV) "Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness." "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." This week the CCK Table closes Armor Up on the word Paul opens the whole passage with: stand. Not attack, not scramble, not flee. A grounded posture of peace, not panic. The belt of truth is your center of gravity, without it nothing else holds together. The breastplate of righteousness is not something you manufacture through your own effort, it is a protective covering already provided, guarding your heart from accusation and doubt. And behind all of it sits a picture worth sitting with: the yoke of your old bondage, lying open and powerless on the ground, unlatched, no struggle left in it, while the doorway of freedom stands open right in front of you, waiting to be crossed. The crown rests on the cross because the victory was never something you had to win yourself. It was already secured. You do not have to win the war. You just have to stand confidently in the victory that is already yours. This week's reflection: where in your own life right now do you need to stop fighting, set down what you have been carrying, and simply stand firm? The armor is yours. The doorway is open. Strength in Faith. Victory in Christ. Watch it: https://youtu.be/i8F8e0Clols
