Ep. 80: Abhimanyu’s Last Stand
from Mahabharat by Kumar Varun · host Kumar Varun
Narrated by Kumar Varun. On the thirteenth day of the Mahabharata war, Abhimanyu, the young son of Arjuna, broke into Drona’s deadly Chakravyuha formation. But before the Pandavas could follow, Jayadratha sealed the breach, trapping Abhimanyu inside alone. Undeterred, he fought like a warrior possessed, cutting through the Kaurava army with unmatched skill. But facing the combined assault of Drona, Karna, Kripa, Ashwatthama, and others, his weapons were destroyed, and he was overpowered in a brutal and dishonorable attack.
