EP 80: You've Made It To The Elk Woods. Now What? - InSights Edition

from ElkBros Blue Collar Elk Hunting · host Gilbert Ornelas, Joe Giglia, Leroy 'Chav" Chavez & RC Knox

So you have made to the elk woods and you look around and say to yourself, WHAT NOW? You are not alone. If it’s your first time or your 10th time elk hunting, sometimes the toughest part is knowing where in the heck to start. Where to start looking for elk? To start calling? And where do you go from there once you do start? The whole process can become intimidating to the point that a person can feel lost and question everything they are doing.  On Today’s Edition of Blue Collar Elk Hunting, a collaboration podcast that was an interview of Elk Hunting Coach Joe Giglia by Chad Ryker and the BackCountry Rookies Podcast. The idea of this show was to help new hunters not be intimidated by the mountains and elk hunting. Chad explains in the beginning that his first year he was blown away at the size of the Colorado mountains and as prepared as he thought he was, the first step in the woods was intimidating. Joe settles some of the confusion and talks through scenarios to help prepare a new hunter for the mountain and the elk. Special Thanks to Hit or Miss Archery in Albuquerque, NM where the show was recorded. So pull up a chair y'all. Hope you enjoy the episode.
