Ep. 82 - Finding A Murder Victim's Next of Kin

from Extreme Genes · host Extreme Genes

Fisher opens the show with an overview of the murder case he never imagined he would become a part of.  He sets up his conversation later in the show with a New Jersey woman who was his feet on the ground on the victim's hometown.  They would attempt to locate living family members thirty-two years after Theresa Rose Greaves went missing in Utah.  In family histoire news, Fisher reviews the strange similarities of the remains of a soldier found in Europe, who was killed in the Battle of Waterloo in 1815, and King Richard III.  And he talks about the recent passing of a 116-year-old woman who twice voted for President Obama.   In segments two and three Fisher and Debbie Veerers, a former classmate of murder victim Theresa Greaves, talk about the hunt for Theresa's family, and the efforts of the Collingswood High (NJ) School Class of '77 to fundraise for a memorial and/or scholarship fund in her name. Afterwords, Tom Perry shares some great ideas from the National Archives on the handling of old boxes of family materials.  Some of them may even be hazardous to your health!  Tom will explain why. That's all this week on Extreme Genes, America's Family History Show!
