Ep. 82 – On We Go

After a lackluster performance versus Rayo Vallecano over the weekend that resulted in a dull 0-0 draw, Los Blancos showed up versus Portugal's SC Braga in their UCL tie and not only scored 3 great goals but also looked good doing it. With this latest win, Real Madrid has secured their ticked to the knockout stage so on we go to the Round of 16. Carlo Ancelotti made quite a few changes to the Starting XI that had faced Rayo at the Bernabeu over the weekend. Brahim Diaz stepped in for Jude Bellingham, Lucas Vasquez slotted into right back in place of Dani Carvajal, and Rodrygo was back in the attack in place of Joselu. Brahim opened up the scoring, Vinicius made it 2-0 with a great strike, and finally, Rodrygo scored a much-needed goal that was not only a beauty but will surely also boost his confidence again in front of goal. Both Vini and Rodrygo, who have not been at their best in La Liga, looked solid in attack and seemed to once again find the swagger that made them a nightmare for opposing defenders.
