Ep 82: Small Town Horror
from The Rants Macabre Hosted by Darren Rosario
Exploring the dynamics of alienation and community paranoia we discuss Shirley Jackson's The Lottery, and three small town films. Starting with Needful Things (1993), then the French-Belgium Calvaire (2004), and wrapping up with The Wicker Man (1973). The intro clip is a real segment edited from a Carpentersville, IL town council meeting. Check out our Patreon Page & give a listen to Dave & Si Do a Podcast.
